After many years working in the business world and raising children, I made the leap to pursue my passion of healing through massage and Reiki. I consider it an honor to be trusted with the health and well-being of my clients.
I strive to create a unique experience with each session to achieve the goals set forth by the client. While I rely on my training and experience to offer appropriate treatment options, the massage is always client-centered. Whether it’s stress relief or help with a painful area, I want you to feel you got exactly what you needed when you walk out my door!
I am a life-long student and enjoy learning new techniques and partnering with related healthcare providers to offer my clients more than just the ‘run of the mill’ massage experience. I view myself as part of my client’s health team and care for each person’s emotional and mental as well as physical health.
I am mother to two amazing adults (one of whom has Aspergers) and am so honored to share my wisdom with new and expecting moms during pre and post-natal massages. My husband has been a NCAA Division 1 Head Coach for over 20 years and I have learned so much about being an athlete from him and his students over the years. I believe it gives me a unique perspective into the health issues of athletes and inspired me to add Sports Massage to my services. We will be joining forces soon to bring individualized swim training to triathletes and others who want to improve their stroke skills and competitive performance.
In my spare time, I am usually ‘geeking out’ over anatomy and physiology articles, meditating, reading, or walking in the woods with my two dogs, Lily and Lucy (who also love massages!)
